The town in the picture is Garmisch Parkenkirchen of Germany. I started climb up in the midnight, wasted too much time halfway, when I arrive the top, the sky had already become bright, missed the best time to shoot milky way. But this scene is still hard to forget. The moon cast shadows of the tree onto the snow, milky way rises from the east, and in the cold morning, the small town in the mountains give off the warm light.
