I woke up early one morning during my vacation in Door County, Wisconsin to capture some beach scenes. I love how the footprints in the sand between patches of grass lead you toward the water. I waited until white caps of the waves churned up before I snapped the shutter. I think it adds definition and provides a focal point or destination to walk toward.
