Measuring the Unrelenting Time
Sundials are one of the most ancient way for measuring time.
This is the result of centuries of studies and generations of people have been driven by this ingenious device, every day.
In the small village of Busino di Monteggio you can admire two restored sundials by 1868, with the ironic and fatalistic motto
«The hour passes and remains in debt», to remind us, perhaps, the penniless - but philosopher - ancient owner.
