We have Sandhill Cranes in our neighborhood, and every year there are new babies being born. I just love these beautiful creatures. They are gentle, but will grow large. On this day I happened to see mama Crane helping her little babies along. Someday her babies will fly just like her, and if you ever get the chance to see a Sandhill Crane in flight, it will be a treat for a lifetime.
