Sparkling A Scientific Revolution
Invented in China, the kaleidoscopic pleasure of fireworks has to face constant criticism of being a pollutant. However, the fireworks have sparked scientific evolution. In late 16th century, it inspired a whole lot of physicists, providing them an alternate mean of understanding the natural phenomenon including Sun, comets & volcanoes. The hands-on approach of firework artisans also motivated practical experimentation. Such experiments with chemicals in turn led to adding colours to fireworks!
