This full grown, 9" high screech owl, named Penny by a bird sanctuary in Ketchikan, AK., was being displayed in a street-side fund raising event. They allowed me to capture this 'wild' bird and I loved the experience. I don't have the time, money or patience to shoot wildlife in their natural habitat so getting the opportunity to take shots of Penny was a great privilege.
