Life in the Fjords
This arctic fox was spotted rummaging through the rocky shoreline for a washed up snack. Typically, the arctic fox is a two toned grey/beige colour in summer, referred to as the white morph, however, this one was the less common blue colour morph. In Iceland, the blue morph is the predominant coat colour, but other parts of the world, not so much. This was my first time ever seeing and photographing this species; a very special moment. Taken in Iceland.
