    Always a surprise to discover a tiny creature moving amidst the green, especially when that creature is a praying mantis, no bigger than 5mm... Iris oratoria, a nymph.

    First, great job seeing this praying mantis — and then even better job making this macro image, taking advantage of the way the gentle way it is resting on this plant. I feel it staring at me, trying not to move and camouflage itself from potential danger.
