I love visiting the rookery in St Augustine every year when the wading birds are there nesting. So awesome to be able to see them build their nests, lay their eggs and care for their young. When the babies can fly, they all leave but return to nest the following year. The young Tri-colored Herons in this photo are so animated to watch. I love their fluffy hairdos.
