This guy climbed down from his cage which was located at a restaurant at a marina where we were having lunch. Did not care about people. He slowly walked across the dock until he came to my husband’s size 13 sneaker and began to chew on the rubber. This picture is his retreat after he became bored. I was struck by his incredible color against the silvered wood. The silk of his back against the rough textures of the boards was stunning. If any filter was used it was the wand on iPhone 10.
