The lake in the picture is not naturally formed. This is the result of continuous mining and exploitation of natural resources.Acrs of land holding granite rock has been drilled and digged leaving empty pits here and there. The rain water accumulating into the pits doesn't sink and leads to stagnant water. But, can't do anything to stop this. As population increases, more houses are built. The demand to rock, sand and soil is always there.
