Beneath the Deception Pass Bridge
The Deception Pass Bridge was finished in 1935 as part of the new deal public works projects. It connects Whidbey Island to Fidalgo Island in the northwest part of Washington State. Frequently we get a view of the bridge of the top or of the side from nearby beaches, but with the characteristic Washington marine layer shrouding the view I thought that this, more abstract view of the bridge's underbelly more suited the June gloom mood.
