while traveling around Iceland you get use to a constant barrage of wind. for people with long hair this can be a very big annoyance but as a photographer it creates dramatic moments where they would otherwise be bland. here we were retuning from a hike from the country side when i turned around to see my friends face with hair strewn across. he looked right at the camera with this look of "Just north of summer" is a very accurate sentiment for Iceland.
