I wanted to go there - so I did! The Rock (pictured on the horizon) is an iconic restaurant in Zanzibar. Accessed either on foot when the tide is out or by a little row boat when the tide comes in, it is a place I had long wanted to experience because it is so unique. The guy doing the rowing looks so serene despite several of us squealing with laughter behind the lens as the water sloshed around our feet and our backsides. It was my birthday but I'm glad I didn't dress up in my finery!
