So I am out looking for a Bear in the Ramsey Canyon Preserve, I missed an opportunity a week before and only got one shot. After about 3 hours waiting on the bear I am walking back to my car, and on the way my wife spots this Whiskered Screech Owl in an old willow tree. We have passed this tree almost every day for a year now. I have determined that the owl just moved in, as none of the volunteers at the preserve were aware of it. So my wife feels proud to have the first report.
