I took this photo in Newport Beach, California. Young artists, performers and musicians often find their way to the pier to play, practice, have fun, or to make a few extra dollars to help them along their way. The gentleman in the photo would craft flowers out of palm leaves and spray them with a metallic paint. A young girl walked by and was staring at the flowers. He asked her, "do you like flowers?" She nodded, and he made one for her. I purchased one and asked permission to take this photo.
