The Lake District is a wonderful place for dogs, and in the hot weather it's not too difficult to find a place for them to paddle or swim and cool down. I liked that this dog was right at the entrance to Rydal Cave in the pool, with part of his body inside in the shade and the rest out in the sun with the shadow of his curly tail, as he wondered whether to venture further in.
