    That’s what my friend asked first upon learning of his diagnosis nearly two years ago. Pictured here with a CT image of his skull, the visible scar barely reflects the trauma hidden beneath the skin. His determination and his unwavering spirit is what I find impressive. Day by day and step by step Nick used the building blocks of determination to fight his way back to health. Today only nick’s scar gives anyone a hint of the trials he has surpassed. The scar only tells part of the story.
