My cousin and I were in my grandma's back yard, standing by the pond, when I noticed this frog. I was so excited. I've never been able to photograph a frog successfully. My cousin and I both bent over in our excitement. I turned on my camera and adjusted it accordingly. The frog had not yet moved. I shifted the camera around, getting closer to clarify the shot, and he stayed put. Even after I took this picture, and my grandma and I watched my cousin gently stroke the calm frog, did he jump away.
