There's a heat wave over the Pacific Northwest and every living thing is feeling it. When I saw this dandelion growing through the cracks of black asphalt, I knew I must sit on the still warm surface to capture it. This image was taken as the sun was setting. I loved the glow of light making the dandelion appear to have little stars on it's surface.
