We met him in Pettah, Colombo's busiest town, a soul like any other... without a camera would otherwise go unnoticed. On the bend of a three way junction, he sat on a rickety stool, petting his beloved pet dog 'Kolla'. The man who moments ago spoke with a cheerful smile about his hardships, suddenly turned teary, talking about the moment he rescued Kolla, a pup abandoned by the roadside. A hearty meal, warm shelter, clean clothes.. matter not. Their bond however suffice to feeds their souls.
