It was through the eyes of my camera that I learned what patience was as I was squatted, sitting, or leaning back to get some of these shots. Waking along the beach in Southern California allowed for these pictures to come to be. The chilled ocean water and breeze, the mist flying up every time a wave broke and the birds that were flying everywhere was a reminded of the power we were beside yet it was peaceful enough that it wasn’t overwhelming, it almost seemed to fade into the background.
