I asked an older monk if okay to take this young monk (collecting donations) picture. He said of course, in perfect English and after telling the boy allowed me to photo for a few moments. At first the boy looked righ at me, then started waving his fan and looking away. That’s how this photo came about. I chided him too, yuu shaved the head but not the stash. In response to my translated jibe, he smiled and shrugged sheepishly.
