My friend Kim, pictured here grew up on top of a mountain in Vermont . When we were hiking the other day she walked by this tree and looked up and said mostly to herself, "that looks just like grandpa" I asked her what she meant and she said that since her siblings and she did not have a grandfather they picked a tree on the mountain and named it grandpa. It was a favorite meeting place and they would often say to each other, "meet me at grandpa."
