Quilt patterns are common on many barns and farm structures in Southern Minnesota. I don't know much about quilt patterns but I do enjoy looking at them. This one caught my eye while driving down a rural road. The whole scene was full of tranquility and the quilt pattern just made the surroundings seem earthy and added a feeling of welcoming to the farm. I could have spend hours there looking at the fields and soaking up nature.
