    Reported by:

Taken in Saskatchewan on July 10 before the tornadoes. This is my first shot of the year of the old church. This makes 12 years of photographing the church which itself is now on year 99. 45 minutes after this photo was taken, the first of 6 tornadoes touched down in Saskatchewan.

I love Your Shot photographer Shannon Hunt's comment: "Ryan this image is intense! That sky is so incredible ominous. The cross leaning on the church almost feels like it could be a person trying to find safety from the impending storm by leaning against the building. The clouds that are stretching out right above the church make the building seem so small and weak as it is being confronted by the strength of Mother Nature wrath. Powerful shot!"
