Echinacea Purpurea Pollination
Echinacea purpurea is a beautiful wild flower of the prairies, dry meadows and open woodlands in central to southeastern North America. It attracts all pollinators such as the bumblebee in this photo. Echinacea also has medicinal properties; boosting immunity and fighting colds and flu. It was used by many Indigenous peoples who shared it with the settlers in early 1900s.
