A rain-soaked mother sparrow feeds one of her two babies resting under a cherry tree at our neighbor's backyard during a heavy downpour. The two babies were close to each other, giving the warmth needed to weather the cold winds, while mom made her rounds to our feeder to feed her kids. It was great to watch her in action, underlining nature's maternal instincts.
