We arrived at this waterfall at 3:00 AM after traveling in our campervan. We just didn't have the energy to explore, so we parked, set up our beds, and crashed. When we awoke, I looked around the parking lot and there was not another vehicle. Knowing this was a popular stop in Southern Iceland, I was jolted awake by the idea that we had this waterfall to ourselves. My wife and I ran out and enjoyed the Seljalandsfoss to it's fullest.
