This is a shot from a female gorila that was in a Zoopark, in Beauval, France... I don´t know why, but it is always very disturbing for me to stand there, looking at gorillas... They look so human, I can recognize so many gestures, so many glances in them that I feel like observing another human being... Sometimes, I think I can even feel their frustration for being observed like "animals"... Because of that the sense of the title: "Cogito, ergo sum" : "I think, therefore, I am"
