Fireworks above Coit Tower
New Year Eve Fireworks in San Francisco. Being one of the best firework show in West Coast, this firework show is always busy every year. I got stuck in the traffic for 4 hours after this show... It was totally worth all the trouble to see this show by my own. Back then I wasn't even taking RAW photo, so this photo is actually a JPEG from my old DSLR - at least I got the settings right.
One of my favorite feelings is looking back on my "little" successes of being a beginner photographer, starting with when I got the settings right and getting the photo I wanted (without maybe knowing what the settings even did yet). I love how the lines of the bridges lead us to the center where the tower is and then this huge firework! Sometimes going back to our deep archives is a great exercise in seeing how much we've learned!
