    On one of my visits to Hatcher Pass I was pleased with a first time sighting of the Hoary Marmot. The sighting was roadside and the marmot did not come out for a photo-opp. That is the only shot I got before the marmot retreated to better cover. I use a Canon EOS, Rebel xti digital camera with a 70
