I forget many of the details of this image, I think I took it in Jaipur about 3 years ago, I know I used a Sony a7s (my favorite camera at the time), and that I edited it to bring down the shadows so the woman appears to appear out of the darkness. I love this photo, I have an emotional connection to it and I can't really understand why.
