The ritual that followed was to offer food to river. Almost everyone offered mango juice or mango followed by other sweets or food. While few took back the food for self, others had given it to underprivileged and few also floated the plates in river water. Few were also floating lamps here. The best part was the next ritual where people were literally offering "chunari" and saree to the river as gift.
