A pair of deers in a reed bed
These two(2) male deers are spending most of their time together and I was able to observe the expansion of their anthers in the past weeks.
Behind, some broad common reed beds (phragmites australis) which are taller than the deers at this time of the year. This invasive plant can spread at 16 ft / 5 meters or more per year by horizontal runners. The common reeds offer good shelter for the deers.
