The amazing thing about Ascension is the power of the Ocean. The waves are small but when they come in, they have an enormous amount of energy in them. This shot of sun and splash was from a small 1-2 ft wave but when it hit as I was taking a photo of the sunset, it bounded up above my head. I noticed there after the punch a small wave would have. I have another I want to post so keep an eye out for it.
