    Reported by:

Our 'sunrise' paddle was remarkably beautiful, but not for any of the reasons we expected. I awoke at 5:20am to a thick fog and hustled around the camp to wake the others. On the walk to the paddle shack, a large humpback whales surfaced just off the shore. We watched as we meandered down the shore line and out of sight. Whilst on the water, we listened as orca 'blew' all around us, hiding in the mist.
