I've been doing photography for a surfing camp for kids, but it's always a lot of fun to capture the instructors as they try to have a little fun or show off their skills to the young students. I love the expression I captured of Erick in this shot, when the wave surprised him. Every detail in his face shows beyond what a pretty surfing shot usually shows. This is raw and real, which is why I love it.
