Unplugged Fun
Every fall our family spends a long weekend in Shenandoah Valley. We unplug from our devices and have no agenda or plans other than to spend time outside together. We go hiking, roll down hills, throw stones in creeks, and appreciate the stars at night. There is nothing grand about it but it's a place that we love to visit because all the distractions are gone and we can be completely present with one another. I'm pretty sure it's my kids favorite weekend of the entire year.
