All a Blur
Recently visited friends in a nearby town while my child was away from me for the first time at a 2-week overnight camp. As I was missing him, I began to miss my own childhood. My friends' daughters were turning somersaults and cartwheels in the summer dusk and, though many memories remain a blur these days, their antics made me reminisce and long for that special feeling of freedom and adventure that summertime always brought me as a child. It's a place I'd love to go, even if only in memory.
