    Edit Photo Details USS Yorktown CV-10 At Night   #charleston #aircraftcarrier #patriots_point #uss_yorktown #uss_laffey
The view outside my berthing quarters on the USS Yorktown CV-10. The USS Yorktown was a WWII aircraft carrier that is open for tours in Charleston, SC. This view is from the bow, starboard side of the ship one deck below the flight deck. The ship on the left is the USS Laffey which was a WWII destroyer that is known as "The Ship That Would Not Die" after being attacked by six kamikazes and four bombs within one hour in Okinawa on April 16, 1945.
