We drove around the middle of Laos by motorbike to find a huge dead forest at the Nam Teun river. It had a beautiful creepyness to it like it was a setting for a Lord of the Rings book. It looked like a story was somewhere to be found, so went went out to explore. Not much further we saw a father of four, ferrying his wife and children across the river through the dead trees sticking out of the water. It was a mystery view with so much room for your mind to make a story of it's own.
