    Edit Photo Details Entryway To A Mayan Village   #yucatanpeninsula #themaya
    Almost all the Mayan villages or towns had a triangular entrance similar to the one in this picture. But, unlike some of the others, this one also has a building structure attached on both sides. There may have been a gate keeper, who took a toll of some sort. They had a very advanced and fascinating culture.
