I was walking on Ventura Beach. It was a beautiful day. There were seals and dolphins out in the distance. However as I walked I noticed a Great Cormorant bird lying dead on the beach. Its feathers were covered in a thick black oil. I looked back out at the ocean. Behind all the beauty and wildlife was an oil mine platform spewing oil and toxic smoke into our atmosphere. I was devastated and disappointed at humanity and their cruel actions.
