A friend (like most of my friends) of mine loves the ocean and we decided to make a kind of maritime portrait. Not far away from where we live, there is a lovely lighthouse we wanted to us as a surrounding. In this photo we checked out how it would work to do the portrait just below the surface and use the effect of total reflection and snells window in the surface to make his portrait and also to add the lighthouse. 1 C water temperature made shooting more difficult than normal.
