Walking out behind a shuttered Soviet era factory in a small town in Latvia, I found this larger than life size cast metal sculpture of Lenin. Prior to Latvian freedom, when this was the Latvian Soviet Socialist Republic, the statue must have resided in a very prominent place in the town.
