    I used to fly in and out of Chicago all the time, until my previous relationship ended. I spent a lot of time avoiding one of my favorite places in the world because I couldn't bear to think about it. I spent the day taking photos of architecture for my show dedicated to these types of challenges in life. This image illustrates the need for upward movement, in the winding staircase of life. I love Chicago, and it's beauty continues to surprise and challenge me.
