    Deep in the hot dusty Great Basin Desert of Northern Utah, I found this wild mustang mare about a mile out from a waterhole. It appeared to me that she was sniffing the air to see if there was any water left. Unfortunately for her that hole was dry. The only water I found that day was another 10 mile walk for her.
