While backpacking in kamchatka we had a pretty bad luck seeing the famous brown bears of the peninsula which was one of our main goals of this trip. On our last trekking day in the peninsula we ran into a bear on the trail, he disappeared between the high bushes so we followed his trail against all human instincts and after a few minutes we found him bathing peacefully in a pond 15 meters away from us while we were standing there shocked. Truly a magical moment and great finish for the trip.
