Working in the World Trade Center requires me to travel through the Oculus in Lower Manhattan. Every morning, hordes of well-dressed men and women rush out of the PATH trains and MTA subways making a simple act, like mopping the floor, a frustrating and fruitless endeavor.

From Your Shot photographer Sukanya De: “Incredibly artistic rendition of a simple everyday moment!! I can feel the intense contradiction and connection between the energies of rest and motion in one great frame. The emotional contrast comes alive in his frustrated stagnancy from doing the same job constantly while the rest of the world moves around in versatile and varied states of freedom.”
